Joined a bit ago but have been looking at exhaust systems and my Subaru rusting bolt issue so in looking things over here I thought I'd say hello.
I drive a 2008 Pearl white Subaru Impreza 2.5i sedan, and a 2008 Mitsubishi Evo X MR.

What exactly is this rusting bolt issue? You shouldn't have issues like that on a car that's only 3 years old...

That's what I told Subaru Canada. They had a recall on their rusting spoiler washers and they fixed that. But I notice that all the door bolts and floor bolts are rusting...because the car had just over 60K when I bought it a few months ago they say my warranty is expired and that the previous owner should have gotten the work done before the 60K. I argued that my Evo has no rusting bolts and it's a 2008 as well. I also argued that a 3 year old car shouldn't have bolts rusting in all 4 of the doors. I also argued that if they felt the previous owner could have gotten the work fixed then why can't they be a decent company and fix what they know should/could have been fixed. I also argued that if they have the recall of rusting washers, they obviously bought the washers and bolts from the same place. They denied my claim and told me that they "have to refuse" to allow me to talk to the "manager" who denied my specific claim. I have no choice but to have all the bolts replaced before they start dripping rust on my beautiful white car and that's going to cost a few hundred because the dealership quoted me $175 just for the bolts. I had been hearing some stuff about people having complaints about rusting bolts on the 2008 Subies, so was checking this out to see if I can make one more argument with Subaru.
