Heading to work at 5:30 am, one is not really wide awake yet, some days.
Saturday I take my regular route of commute
which entails a railway crossing to get on to highway #1.
Quite often a freight train is comming thru at that time , as usual I try getting across before the arms come down so I don't have to sit ther waiting for a long time as these trains are very long heading to the coast.
This morning as I aproached the bells were ringing and the arms were not down yet.
So I start to cross and then stop, why I don,t no  well I shouldnt have cause the arm came down on the top of my Rex.
Clunk, What the ? that woke me up and 5000 rpm later I cleared the tracks.
One thing, when it comes to takeing out a 10000 hp diesel one could loose

Woke me up lol. I didnt know I had that much adrenaline ,and the REX pumped out some too,if I still had my Suzuki Sidekick I would have been singing Judy in the sky.

You lucky son of a gun! I say this because you lived to "tell the tale". That is the most inportant thing. Your Rex can be repaired -- I'm sure it just suffered some cosmetic damage.

Don't do that again!!!!! Hopefully you learned this lesson the hard way.
