OMG the sound is AMAZING! I love not having the mufflers on. And I personally think the ovals look better than the stock quads.:wave:

It's the I went to my local exhaust guy and bought some pipe and flanges brand. Cost $15 without the tips, the tips cost $25 each so $65 total and took me about 2 hours to get the tips centered. I only replaced the mufflers with new pipe, the rest is stock yet.

Me too...I really like the quad tip. I like them even more on the hatches.

Ive been toying with going back to quad tips. I'm going to buy a set of qaud tips this weekend and fit them and see how it looks. I cant seem to find any that are big enough to fill the space in the bumper.

Surprisingly enough I've had zero issues with mine even with my giant parcel shelf rear wing. Then again I drive mostly in the mountains where they're aren't many cops around. I do get a lot of dirty looks from old people I go by in towns up here in the mountains.

Doesn't look half bad. And I know it sounds mean, I was surprised at how good my car sounded when I first installed the cutout.. but now I keep it closed basically all the time. I would rather my car be quiet than loud in nearly every circumstance. Plus the drone on the highway was killing me.

I get annoyed with cars that make a huge racket and seem to accelerate slowly, but when a car takes off like a rocket and hardly makes a sound in doing so.. I'm impressed. (does this mean I'm getting old?)



For what it's worth, I never got pulled over with my exhaust dumped at the down pipe, even though I took off right in front of cops several times. I always though I might get a noise violation, but the most I get around here is cops wanting to ask about how much power it makes and "what's that there hood scoop for?".

Havent had a single problem with the fuzz. My car is quiet compared to all the damn bumble bee hondas flying around town. I have 2 cops that live in my building and they both like it. Sounds "MEAN" and "ANGRY" they both say. At highway speeds its ok... I have a loud stereo so I dont hear it

When I put on my axleback, I did take the car around the block with the stock axleback off, so it was like a delete....thing was loud!

Personally, not a fan of the tips, but :thumbup: on a nice DIY.
