Looking to put some good all terrain tires on my stock 17 inch wheels and get some new wheels and summer tires. Is there anything wrong with running all terrain? The reason I'm considering it is because I live in Oklahoma and have to travel on everything from concrete to muddy and snowy back roads during winter. But during summer I can run summer tires and should be able to stay on paved roads. What's the biggest all terrain tires I can run with stock wheels and suspension?

For summer wheels can I fit 18x 9.5 with stock suspension Without rolling fenders? Any reccomendations on where to buy wheels and tires? Thanks

I'm not personally familiar with all-terrain tires, but I'd imagine the difference between them and dedicated snow / winter tires would be how well they would or wouldn't work in low temps. The tread design / pattern might be there, but the rubber material composition might not be sticky enough on ice / snow (those micro-sipes).

As to fitment the stockers would be 235/45-17 right? That's 25.3" tall and 8.25" wide (approx. max.), so any tires of a similar overall height & width should be alright.
