just wanted to see which is better performance wise and also which filter lasts longer.

They are about the same. SPT has optional heat shield and CARB sticker and Factory warranty. SPT also comes with non cleanable paper filter.

Go with the SPT thats what i got still valid under factory waranty and even tho it is a paper filter im sure you can afford a 15 dollar filter once every 6 months or so

i have the cobb and love it. If you still have a factory warranty i would go with spt but if you dont have a warrenty the cobb has a lifetime filter and you can buy a cleaning kit from cobb. reccomended to due with oil changes.

They all make noise and nothing more (unless upgrading the turbo)...

You just don't want one that screws with the MAF such as a full CAI.

Cobb, SPT, APS, and K&N are the only Short Ram intakes I suggest.


I personally like my SPT :wiggles:

If cobb and spt performance wise are the same why not go with cobb its cheaper and it lasts a life time
