All of a sudden my shifter feels suddenly loose. I have a shift stop in was tight and nice now suddenly theres alot of side to side slop out of nowhere. Clutch feels fine, can get into gear fine, but just alot of play. I have a perrin brass shifter bushing sitting around to install. Any ideas as to what could cause this?

Asking obvious: u looked at what u installed? Still there? Not broke?

All I installed is a k4rt3oy shift stop. Tightened it up. Still has no effect on side to side slop of 3/4
