Hello,
Newbie here going to pick up first Subaru this weekend

I am looking used at 2

2013 WRX STI Hatchback
2017 WRX Premium

This will be my daily driver and will be trading in my H3

I already have a track/driver in my 2015 Z/28

I have driven both and like the 17 better but love the hatchback versatility

Suggestions?????

2017 for sure. Little nicer fit and finish all around than the 13 sti

Another vote for the 2017. Too many unknowns with used vehicles.

For a daily driver I'd go with the 2017 WRX.

However...if you like the idea of a hatchback, the lesser refinement and drive quality of the 2013 STI don't bother you, the fact of being out of warranty doesn't bother you, AND the price and condition are right, you might consider the STI. It's definitely unconventional compared to the new WRX/STI.

Show us pics of the Z28--not your idea of a DD??

I drove a Camaro 2LT for a month a few years ago when my WRX was stolen--it was powerful and fun, just not as versatile as the WRX, and of course no AWD. I never got used to the poor visibility even with the backup camera.
