Alright, I know this topic has been touched on several times, but I have one final question before my installation this weekend. I'm using Fireseal 2000, and was wondering if I apply a thin layer between the uppipe and gasket only? I don't think that I would apply it between gasket and manifold/turbo, but I just want to be certain. I'm sure you guys understand...thanks

I applied copious amounts to both faces of the gasket. Make sure you let it cure exactly as per the instructions.

Get it right the first time. It's not fun to scrape it off once it has cured. Also, I recommend you perform the installation in cool weather. The stuff dries to the touch very quickly in hot weather.

So if I have to remove the uppipe for some reason, will I be able to do so eventhough there's sealant adhering it to the turbo and manifold?
