Someone had backed into me on Christmas Eve and left me an early Christmas present before they drove off. My friend who owns a body shop recommended a while ago to get this 3M Marine Finesse-It II Glaze for small scratches because it's easy on paint. It cost me $40 but it really did the job well. I barely used any of it.

Will upload end result when I figure out how to delete attachments.

Whenever attempting to "work" paint, it's always advantageous to start with the least abrasive option to see if it gets the job done. That Finesse-it is pretty mild, as it's usually used as the last step of a full cut & buff. It purpose is to remove swirl marks from prior buffing, hence it's a glaze. Looks like your marks were more like transfers of material from the other car. Good Job!

I do like white, it's so easy to maintain and it tends to look good longer.
