search for mbc's and you will see a mountain of info. some people say dialing in 15.5psi/16psi is ok, some say they wouldn't even use a mbc.

the info is there.

You shouldn't be messing with a boost controller on an 04 WRX. The OP/CL switchover delay can cause you to run way too lean if you increase the boost, and you'll be hitting way too much boost in 4th and 5th, causing CEL's and what not.

Take the boost controller off, get some engine management.

Why don'y you just buy a blow-off-valve so you can easily and safely handle the psi, if its questionable, why take the chance of somethin screwin' up?
what in the hell are you talking about?

Just reinstalled MBC for the second time and now i have a uppipe + catback installed now. Safe to run 16psi?

Downpipe still isnt here yet :(
I personally wouldn't mess with changes in boost unless I had some ECU tunning to go with it.

i think, that he thinks, that if you are running a high boost level, then getting a 100% atos BOV will relieve the turbo from the high PSI that is being pushed.

I guess? I don't know. the stock bov isn't that bad actually, so i'm as confused as you are.
