just wondering if anyone thinks this is a good deal. someone on a local forum is selling rota toques 17x8 for 650. comes with what he says mint condition RE070s. originally i wanted hankook ventus RS2 though. by the pics, the rims look mint also, but i still have to ask. also, is there any way i can check if a rim is bent by looking at it when/if i go to pick these up. all opinions welcome.

thanks,

-nick

Doesn't sound like a "bad" deal.. It's not "awesome" though.

If they are EXACTLY what you want.. go for it.

I think if you get 17s though, you'll just wish you would have waited for 18s.

Personally, I think 17s are the perfect size for the wrx.
If you really want em, got for it!

If its is only slightly out-of-round, you won't be able to tell that it is until you get in balanced. But if he lets you take them to a local tire specialist, they could tell you.

some of us like how they work over how they look ;)

17's FTW and depending how the tires are it could be a good deal. if you were to buy brand new torques alone it'd be $650, and you'd still be looking at that much more for tires

If you like them, go for it and see if you can talk the price down a little.

Id say stick with 17's but its all preference
