Still on my mission for good fair priced wheels.

Came accross the Rota Formel's, really like the look. Was hoping some of you were familier with the wheel and would like to throw in your 2 cents on what you think of the wheel quality as well as overall quality of Rota wheels. Also, is 700$ a good price for set?

Do a search and you'll find plenty of Rota posts. Most people seem to really like them. $700 with tires? That's pretty good. Without tires? That's pretty steep - not sure about the Formels and what size you're talking but most Rotas seem to go for around $400-$500 for the set.

Formels are knock offs of the stock BBS forged wheels (now on the market as the BBS RG-R), they however, like all Rota wheels are cast, not forged. I think the Formels tend to go a bit higher than the average Rota. I know a guy that just picked them up for $1000 with tires (Flakens) which is a good deal. Rotas are good inexpensive bang for the buck wheels. Like GV said, search around bit and you will find tons of info.
