Doesn't have any rev matching I know of. The throttle curve isn't linear so if you were on the throttle a little bit it will do that.

^ This with a slight edit. It's called rev hang. If you do some searching on the forums, you'll see it's an annoying problem. However, it's fixable with a tune.
Interesting. I drive a '91 Miata - not a car that's particularly sensitive to my right foot kind of sitting there in wait. May just need to adjust my driving style. Thanks for the reply. I will check the rev hang issue out. Is there any chance Subaru will fix this with some kind of ECU update? Was it a problem on the 2015 and 2016 models? It's called rev hang. Once you get used to it, you can use it to your advantage. Took me 5,000 miles to adjust, though.
Yes it's a problem on the 15 & 16 models. There was an ECU flash for the 15 that purportedly *improved* it. I have a 16 and it's still there, though. Thanks for the reply.
