So I plasti-dipped my badges on the trunk, and Since it was my first trial I got some spray on the outsides on where I taped. So I need to get a little bit off (not a big layer of it, just like sprinkled spray) I was thinking of using Goo-Gone but I want to be extra sure My paint will remain on my car.

I used goo gone to remove the left over tape and residue when I debadged my Wrx. I soaked a rag in it holding it over the residue and then wiped it down. I had no paint issues when I did it. I added the pic so you can see I didnt have any problems. So I would say you shouldnt either. If you are still worried it will hurt your paint try it out in a place you cant see like somewhere in the trunk.

I've always just used my nail to gently peel up a little bit of the plastidip and then it peels off in one big "sheet"

To get off the overspray, not sure if googone would work.

will do. It looks like crap since it was my first attempt at 'plasti-dipping' but I will re-do it today
