Folks:

Anyone have any experience removing overspray on their Subaru? My pearl black wagon got a nice dusting of light colored paint a few days back. I used a bar of Mothers detail clay, which seems to have helped a lot. However, there are some stubborn bits that are reluctant to let go of my gel coat.

Your thoughts?

normally whoever got the paint on it would be responsible for getting it off. If a contractor was painting a house and didn't cover all the cars that could get sprayed, they you can take the contractor to court and have them pay to restore your car...happened to a friend of mine. Its the painter's responsibility and they know it. If the painter's not bonded/licenced or cannot be found, you can go after the person who HIRED them. Then you can let THEM figure out how to get the overspray off.
