I am new to the board...Hello All!!

Have any of you tried to remove the air bag warning stickers on the sun visors. I tried using a couple of different knives to lift up a corner of the sticker but it seems really stuck on.

What about cloth visors?

That link at ScoobyMods is fine for the VINYL sunvisors, I've used it and it works. (Kinda smells for a while, but it goes away)

But what about the visors in and '06 with the cloth? Anyone figure out a way to get those dang stickers off of the cloth visors????

Removing Airbag Stickers from visors

I know this is an old thread. Anyone have any new ideas?

I tried heating with hair dryer, still couldn't get an edge to lift.

I wonder about a product like Turtle Wax Label and Sticker Remover. I used it to debrand the left rear of my 2016 WRX. But it says it is for nonporous automotive surfaces like metal, plastic and glass

I may try the denatured alcohol method, but not until I've researched everything I can about safely and effectively removing from cloth

Faux Carbon fiber vinyl patches over airbag stickers.

Here's what I ended up doing: Faux carbon fiber vinyl patches over the airbag stickers. I think it came out pretty good, and easy to remove to return to stock. IMG_20160130_093319736.jpg IMG_20160130_093549888.jpg IMG_20160130_093205100.jpg

Yup. That's what I did on mine first week I bought the car. I did same thing to my 2015 legacy a week after I had bought that as well which I posted on a few other forums.

I did read about it somewhere when I was researching, so it might have been your post. Yours looks good - how did you make the corners so nicely rounded?

Thanks. Glad it helps others hide those nasty ugly and intrusive warning labels.
For my Leg, I used a tape roll to mark the backside of them and cut with scissors. For the WRX, I just free handed with scissors because I had far too much going on with my entire interior being completely gutted.

I also removed the ugly warning labels inside the door jambs ;)
They just plaster them all over the place. :shakehead:
