Hi, is there anyone that had experience purchasing an sti wing online and installed without going to a shop? I would like to buy one but I'm seeing some good and bad reviews, some says it fits the trunk and some says it doesn't fit and will have to trunk swap. Some people ordered it from eBay and some people ordered it from subiespeed. Please help.

They have to do some things to brace the trunk. Those parts might come separately ? But if you are going to purchase a wing, imo, see what your options are before jumping on the sti wing. I like some lower profile ones that are out there, and will probably do that... unless I can find someone to swap trunks with. Where do you live? You will void rust protection warranty. As long as you wash any winter chemicals off and take care of your paint, you'll be fine. Or just wash often in general if you're coastal.

i think your best bet is to find someones trunk to swap with, there are threads, and other forums.
