No but PS leaks are common. There's a thread on NASIOC for a cheap fix if there's a specific small part at fault. Have a look there it may be worth your $$.
Power steering leak?!!
I have a 2007 wrx, I know for sure my p/s pump is leaking there is clearly a small puddle underneath of the pump. also, i recently had my oil pan resealed, and my concern is pretty much the p/s is leaking down the front of the block, through the the timing belt cover and possibly flinging back onto my oil pan, it’s kind of hard to tell the difference between the dirty ps fluid that made its way underneath the car or a possible oil leak. Has anyone has a problem like this before where the p/s fluid would make its way all the way to back of the oil pan where it bolts up?
