May be I'm an idiot but none of this stuff is making sense:confused: . I bought a Perrin Catch can because I knew what it does, but I wasn't sure how it worked. I've done a search on it in Engine Performance and the Tutorial Board and still can't figure it out. Does the Catch can hook up to the Pcv or the crankcase vent tube? I heard you cannot hook both the Pcv and Crankcase up with the Perrin. Here are a few threads on hooking them up and they are all just confusing the hell out of me. Where does the "T" connector come from and a better question is where does it go to? Can someone with experience in installing these help clarify this. Thanks

Yeh, back when I first installed my catch can, I thought it would be good to hook all the hoses upto the same can. I don't really think that's such a good idea anymore:). The middle link you put up shows everything. Check the hoses and see if any of them have oil to start out. Depending on where you find the oil, use the catch can on those hoses. If all the hoses have oil in them, you might wanna get 2 catch cans. Install one like the first pic, then use the other for the other half of the intall in the second pic so that all the origional hoses go back to where they came from on the turbo inlet pipe, but they can drop oil off on the way.

peace

Hippy, do you have the Perrin? If so, what is the little clear tubing for that attaches to the top and bottom of the can? Do you detach that tube from the top side of the can and drain it that way? And what is this gauge everyone is talking about that tells how full the can is, is it that tube? Thanks
