Hey, I don't own a wrx, but my friend does and I didn't know where else to post this question, im sorry.

On his WRX, the parking lights (amber side lights) and the tail lights won't shut off, all interior lights are off and so is the engine, and the doors are all shut. It just started doing this. We reset the computer and unplugged the battery and that didn't do anything (well everything is off now that we left the battery unplugged). Any insight on this would be great!

There is a little switch on top of the steering column. Turn it off. :wiggles:

If all else fails, disconnect the negative battery terminal.

i have the same problem and i have a 1999 corolla. its not the switch. its not the brake oil level i dont know what it is.

can anyone help me out? its not the relays nor the fuse. im thinking ground but from where? all fuses are good light switch off and the lights are still on
