Hello to all,

I've buy the P0420 CE delete from ScoobSport(it's a little elettronic thing), and i've installed in my car.

This thing works , that when come this error, he delete it.

The CE light was on when i installed it.

The question is:

I need to reset it before i installed, because the Ce light is always on.

I think the CEL will be on as long as the device in connected.

In all likelihood it is OBDII's answer to the GM "Bent paper clip" in order to put my car in diagnosis mode before, I had to plug a conductor between two pins. OBDII makes this more sophisticated and expensive, but hey it kind of kicks ass.
