Hi Guys,

I know there are a ton of posts about oxygen sensors, but i havent been able to find what I need.
I have a 99 WRX JDM version and it is really hard to find the right o2 sensor here in aus. I have managed to find the right part number etc by calling the dealership in New Zealand.

I want to buy one online as it seems like i can get a Denso sensor from the states for a really good price but I dont know if they will fit my car as the listing only show 2.2l engines in the 99 model. The part number for mine is 22690-AA391.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well if you know what the Denso # is supposed to be for your car, then disregard what the stateside application lists. We never got the JDM motor here, only the 2.2 in the legacy. I know several companies used to import the JDM wrx 2.0L engines and parts were available here.

How many wires is the o2 sensor, 4?

That part number is actually the oem part number so not sure wat the denso part number is.

Those are all the US models and their sensors. Denso was the OE mfg for the EJ205 which we got in 2003, but our cars came OBD2 while the 1999+ JDM models were just OBD, so idk if that made a difference. Usually here any car that came obd 2 has either a 2,3, or 4 wire O2 sensor. OBD 1 cars came with a 1 wire sensor.

You guys don't have a national auto parts chain that will have aftermarket equivalent parts?
