I wanted to post this so people know the difference & what to do about it. Thanks to BBC motorsports for the info.

Understeer:
This happens when the front of the car does not have as much grip as the driver wants, and the car has a tendency to plough straight on at a corner. It wears out the front tyres and slows the car down.

The car can be adjusted to try to cancel it out, usually by increasing the amount of downforce at the front, or changing the suspension settings.

On the track, the only real way to deal with it is to enter the corner at a slower speed, although some drivers can find ways to minimise its effects.

Oversteer
This happens when the front of the car has more grip than the rear. It creates a feeling that the car is trying to spin.

Some drivers like oversteer in limited amounts because it can make the car feel more responsive, but it carries the risk that the driver will lose control.

It can be dialled out using the settings of the car in the opposite way from which understeer would be cured.

I find that the WRX has mad oversteer how bout you guys?

WRX's actually have plenty of understeer. It's nose heavy, and it's all wheel drive.

when i got in my accident, it was around a turn, and my front end just kept plowing straight so i couldn't turn anymore.

Mad understeer! I've done a lot of things and still don't have as much oversteer as I'd like.

A stock WRX will understeer off a cliff at 15 mph, it's horrible. Get a rear sway bar however, on the stiffest setting and you can get some nice oversteer. I'm guessing the only way to oversteer in a stock car is to either pull the handbrake (bad) or enter a corner in second gear at like 6200 rpm, flooring it, and then lift completely off the gas (usually bad).
