Indeed. In ways I miss the WRX. In ways I don’t.

Yep. Almost too quick. The ‘plaid’ mode acceleration borders giving me a headache.

How's the overall fit and finish. Some of the ones I looked at were a little dodgy for the asking price?

I still really want an ev I've been keen on them for a while. The lower maintenance costs and fact I'd only have to charge it once every few weeks is a huge benefit to me.

My son has a 3. It does leave things to be desired as far as fit, finish, rattles, etc go. My S is a step up, though. It still is not perfect, but is quite nice with none of those little issues so far. Very quiet car. I drove it from the Cleveland area to Cincinnati on one charge and could have gone on to Louisville had I wanted to push it. I plug it in every night to a 220V dryer outlet in my garage.

The S is expensive so not ‘worth it’ in money savings even if it is low maintenance. But a used 3 can be had for a reasonable price now. I have heard the 3s are hit/miss wether they have the fit/finish/rattle issues.

Should have posted up, I'm in the cinci area.

You've only made me want one more
sacrilegious
I agree. I'd want mine to make the Jetsons noise.

Have you heard one back up? They actually do have a broadcast ‘futuristic whine‘ , like commercial vehicles have that nauseating beep noise.
I always thought it was funny in some EVs they added noise coming out of the speakers to make it seem like the engine is revving up. Probably my least favorite feature in a car but I do want a tesla if I ever get out of a state where electric is triple the price.

Not that I've paid close attention to. Now I'm interested.
