I got my car late last November and was able to source a set of what looked like new 2020 OEM WRX rims and new winter tires off kijiji…only thing wrong was they were not balance correctly. With balance and cash purchase price was $840 CAD. The tires that came on the car are for summer use only…

I have a 22 base as well. I am having new wheels and tires installed today. These are the all seasons I went with. The snow and ice rating is fantastic for an AS tire.
Made the same decision to get the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 for my base… specifically because I didn’t want to change tires/wheels. Really liked the video reviews on all season tires from the source below which helped me decide.

Also moved up to 18” wheel which is topic for diff thread. Lots of learning about offset and poke.

On my other cars I went with the CrossClimate 2 and they are everything they are hyped to be in snow, and fine for daily driver even during hot California summer. Was tempted to get them for the WRX also, but decided to go one notch more towards summer performance because the WRX won’t be the goto vehicle when snow is expected to get deep (due to ground clearance).

Will post pics once I get them mounted.
