First off, I don't know the technical names for everything. I do know what I am doing though, kinda.

I have a 2002 WRX Wagon.

So I just bought some 06 or 07 STI springs. Not pinks. I get the old one off and the new one on the strut. Get the strut in place and starting putting the 2 big bolts that attach the strut to the rotor, i think. I can get the bottom of the two and then I go to push the rotor up to line the top hole up and it just stops. So I am thinking, I'm not strong enough and this thing sucks. So I get my friend, who is not little and he gives it a try. He can get it to go up either. It's like it's stuck on somthing. I can here it knocking somthing when I give it a hard push.

I tried putting it in neutral and taking the e-brake off but nothing.

Is my tire supposed to be able to spin freely while the other 3 tires are on the ground?

Thanks for the help. Fixed it my self.
Wasn't exactly a clear question or most people don't put STI springs on a WRX, because they are usually a bit different...which is probably why nobody was able to help...

pics and a more clear description would have helped. Glad you got it to work
