Just bought a 2011 Red WRX two weeks ago. Was on leave back home and went to the Subie dealership just because I was curious and ended up trading my 2004 350z for the WRX. I've already put 2200 miles on her and don't regret the decision to buy at all. Next stop is some window tint (looking at the 3M crystalline series) and most standard mods these days--ya know, STS, Cobb AP S1, AUDIO!; nothing major for now.

Congrats on the new WRX, it looks sweet in the red! I just picked up 2011 DGM 4-door on Thursday and I think it's amazing so far. I have always loved the 350z's as well, how do you think the power compares? The stereo really is pretty bad though, I read about a lot of complaints on here but was hoping it wouldn't be as bad as I expected...but it pretty much is haha

Well, I felt the Stereo in the 350z was worse and I even had the BOSE mode; first thing I did to my Z was replace the audio. But in regards to power all I have is the butt dyno and the WRX is so much more fun to drive. Cept, it takes some getting used to the power curve. This is my first turbo car and feeling like a grandma before 3.5k kinda sucks, but I hear the Stage 1 tune fixes that.

Yeah it is definitely a lot of fun to drive, I know what you mean with the turbo lag, but the '11 feels 100x better in that department than my '02 did, I'm looking forward to getting through the break-in period and being able to really see what this one can do. I feel like an 8 year old on Christmas every morning getting up to drive it so far

The stage 1 will help a bit, but it'll just start you on the power path.

I'm not really a fan of the Z. They're cool looking little cars, but you can't see out the sides or back very well, and I felt claustrophobic in it. It doesn't help that I'm 6'4 250, but even if you're a lot smaller, the rear and side/rear sightlines are terrible!
