So I’m looking at getting a pair of winter rims and tires for my 19 STI . I was just wondering if I wanted to go down to a 18’ would I change the offset? Or would a stock 18’ STI rims work ? Thanks

If the wheel is the same width as the factory wheel no.

However it's ideal to have narrower winter tires.

I’m just worried about the rim hitting the calipers . The stock rims are very close as it is , so that’s why I was asking

At some point the brakes changed, I don't know if it was 18, or 19. If the 18s have the same brakes and 18" wheels then they will fit

Nice thanks same offset as the stock rims are +55?
Yes, offset is +55

OP -- not all 18" wheels are the same. You would be well advised to find other cases of people installing 18" wheels on the new 6-piston brake hubs. Or you could volunteer as tribute ;)
