Nameless?

I'm about to (possibly) be buying the nameless axel back exhaust. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any suggestions on any other system I should go with? I've been looking for about 2 weeks and before I buy it I want to make sure I'm making the right decision.

They're nice. What sort of input are you looking for? I think they look best with the 4" tips, other than that. The muffler delete will be the loudest, adding mufflers will quiet things down.

Are the full deletes too loud? Like what would you compare it too. I've seen quite a few videos but I can really tell.

The only way to put it is that the deletes are as loud as your car possibly can be for an axle back. There's no muffler. No restriction, nothing to stop the sound.

It's impossible to say " oh, yeah, it sounds like this video!"

The muffler deletes just sound like muffler deletes. I think they sound great when there's a mid-pipe resonator on the car, but don't personally like the harshness of them on stock cars. Your opinion may differ. Considering the otherwise stock exhaust, You'd call the deletes a 10/10 for loudness, 4" mufflers a 7/10, and 5" mufflers are barely louder than stock, if at all, so I'd call them a 5/10,

I'm a fan of the 4" mufflers.

5" is way too quiet.

That is, again, my personal opinion, and yours may vary.
I have the 3.5 double wall deletes with no mufflers. I don't think the car is loud, cold start ups sound nice but not too loud, accelerating you can hear the exhaust, but at cruising speeds/RPMs it quiets down with no highway drone.
I'm not a fan of deletes at all. I'm not busting anyone's chops, but they sound cheap, and generic. They are for volume, not good sound.

The quality of nameless stuff isn't too bad. The quality is hitting way above the price point so as far as your fit and finish and quality you are getting really good stuff.

I agree. No muffler at all is annoying to anyone outside the car. The right muffler will make a great sound to someone outside the car.
I have the muffler deletes with no resonators as well on my STI and it is not even close to loud and doesn't drone at all. I can only assume it will be even quieter on the FA20. So if you're worried about it being too loud, it wont be. I think you'll love it.
Ya, they are no where and I mean no where near as loud & annoying as cruiser motorcycle with straight pipes.
What's with all the newer subies and nameless exhaust? Back in my day it was invidia, HKS, Borla. Lol
Those are still really popular, but nameless makes deletes and people want to try and get the uel header sound of the old cars.

Personally I'm on the fence with a Corsa exhaust

The new ones are EL headers? o_O ewwwww
Yes they are, as all of them should be. I can't think of any logical reason to have a non equal length header. They are less efficient and make less power.

I'll take less efficient and less power to not sound like every other car out there lol. Every EL header boxer engine makes my ears hear "riiiiiiiicccccccceeeee buuuuuurrrrrrnnnnnnn errrrrrrr" lol
I seriously can't stand EL headers on subies
You have that right. But when it comes to brass tacks the equal length headers and twin scroll turbo is the better choice. In the end the power and efficiency is what it's all about.

Yep, everyone is free to mod to their preference. My tuner even told me ELs would get me more power, but I wish the UELs netted the same power.

Who even remotely said it would be that loud and annoying?
I think he's just making a comparison for the OP with the cruiser statement! I'm going for the nameless deletes myself, just to attempt to piss off my neighbor even just a little more than normal. :)
The other thing I have to mention that I think people forget is that on a stock turbo back otherwise, you may think your muffler deletes sound great. But if you plan on swapping out the rest of the pipes, especially if you ever plan to run anything catless or unresonated, your car is going to be absurdly loud.
You guys with the muffler deletes that don't think your car is "that loud"... where do you get your weed? Must be some of that deaf weed, cuz the car is pretty damn loud with muffler deletes. I don't think it sounds bad, or anything like that (and definitely not anywhere near as annoying as muffler-less sport bikes or harleys), but dont kid yourself, it is loud as hell.
