Muffler Delete

I want the sound of a Nameless Performance Muffler delete for my 2017 WRX but dont want to spend the $300. I was wondering if it was possible to make a gap in the piping that leads to the mufflers so that the sound is louder. Will I get any problems with the car by doing this?

An intentional exhaust leak? Sure, it can be done.. or you could simply just remove the mufflers altogether. It would be illegal, wouldn't pass safety inspection, and would sound like crap.. but it can be done.
I guess you could get a muffler shop to make you the muffler delete.
Please don't intentionally create an exhaust leak in your piping for more sound. co2 poisoning is no joke. Either have a muffler shop cut the mufflers and weld on pipes as suggested, or save and get a proper delete later.
Also you can look for a used set. I will more than likely go stage 2 after the new year, so I will be selling mine after.

I think you mean CO poisoning . . . ;) . . . unless you're talking about death from drinking way too many carbonated sodas or beers. :)
