Hello everybody. I can’t believe I’m doing this, but I am putting my WRX up for sale. This car has been my best friend for the last 5 years, but I need the money for other life endeavors that I cannot put off. Please, do not buy this car if you are going to slam it, rice it out, or just plain beat the crap out of it. I’ve taken very good care of this car for it to be thrown away. I am NOT interested in any trades right now, just need the money.
I’ve owned this car since November 2011 and bought it with 88,036 miles. The car has been garaged its ENTIRE life, with the owners before me and myself (I am the third owner). The car has not been driven the last 2 winters to keep the salt off of it. In the last 2 years I really only used the car for nice days and road trips. I recently installed a new JDM engine and did a bunch of service. This car needs nothing, and has no issues. No problem lights on the dash. All is detailed below.
Engine/Drivetrain: 9.5/10
The engine and driveline is nearly flawless. Engine just replaced with a 100% complete JDM EJ205 that had 47k miles on it. Perfect working condition with no vacuum leaks, fluid leaks, or any problems in the slightest. Fresh dyno tune, compression test, and tons of other service mentioned later in the post. Transmission is perfect with no grind, pop outs, or any issues. Everything is quiet. The only flaw out of everything is the shifter bushings are worn so the shifter isn’t as tight as it used to be. But it’s still fine regardless.
Suspension/Brakes: 9.5/10
Suspension and brakes perform well with not a single clunk or problem. The brakes are free moving and the car has a fresh alignment. Very smooth when moving, and brakes work well when stopping. KYB struts all the way around.
Interior: 8.5/10
Interior is very clean, was never smoked in, vaped in, and no pets. Basically only water and some snacks were allowed in the car. Everything works in the interior and was regularly cleaned. No rips or major stains anywhere. Drivers seat is showing some fabric wear, there are some minor wear and tear scuffs on the trim, and the rear seat has a minor stain that you can only really see in the light. The steering wheel has the typical wear at the top.
Body/Chassis: 8/10
For a 2004, the body is very very clean. The WRB paint is literally one of the most beautiful colors I’ve ever seen. The paint still shines like a mirror and it takes my breath away. I cannot park the car without looking back, ever. For that reason, I did every single thing I could to keep it clean. Fresh detail with claybar and buffing about 12k miles ago. The paint has been sealed with CQuartz coating, which acts as a very tough wax that keeps the paint safe. The body has no major scratches, and very few micro scratches. Always garaged and washed with microfiber. All dents were removed 12k miles ago, and the only dent on the car now is on the rear driver side door. Chassis is very clean underneath with only mild surface rust. No rotting whatsoever, and the car has never been bottomed out or rallied. There are some paint chips on the spoiler, and a moderate amount of rock chips on the hood. The front bumper was replaced and freshly painted 13k miles ago and still looks very good. The front bumper is cut for an air to water heat exchanger. There are also a few scuffs on the rear bumper.
The car came fully loaded from the factory with the premium package and cold weather package. This was somewhat rare in 2004, since only the late models were available to order with this package. Somewhere around 900~1000 2004 WRX had a premium package. I may be forgetting an option.

-Competition clutch lightweight flywheel (Faster revs and much better to rev match)
-Invidia catless 3” downpipe
-Exhaust Number 1 catless 3” catback exhaust
-Grimmspeed 3 port boost controller
-Mishimoto radiator hoses
-Airbox snorkel delete
-Dyno tuned by Alexx Kallin at Boost Controlled performance making 232whp and 243wtq. The car pulls hard and smooth with better driveability than stock. This is the power a stock STI makes. Dyno sheet can be provided.

-Red LED key ring and HVAC controls
-05+ 12v outlet with red LED
-Light shade window tint all the way around except the windshield

-JDM EJ205 installed with 47k miles on EVERY SINGLE part that bolts to the engine (Except the AC condenser and TMIC). Compression tested all at 151-152psi COLD on all 4. Have a video if serious buyers would like to see it.
-Brand new OEM clutch kit with bearings
-Competition clutch lightweight flywheel
-New NGK Iridium 1 step colder plugs
-Engine oil with Valvoline 5w40 full synthetic and new OEM filter
-Power steering oil change
-Transmission oil change
-Rear differential oil change
-New coolant
-Complete brake flush with new DOT 4 fluid
-Complete clutch fluid flush with brand new DOT 4 fluid
-New engine bay fuel filter
-New in tank fuel filter
-New air filter
-New passenger front ball joint
-Brand new windshield with Aquapell coating to make the rain bead right off
-Fresh dyno tune with everything performing perfectly
-Brakes have plenty of life at about 80%
-All season tires have 65~70%
-New Optima red top battery about a year ago
The car drives extremely well and has not a single problem. I really really want the car to go to a good home. I have my heart and soul into it her.
