Would be nice to see back-to-back dyno comparisons on either a stock or modded WRX to show the increase in output with this header fitted, versus without.

I've often wondered exactly what gains (if any) could be had on the WRX with an aftermarket header.

Thanks again for the pics - that thing is surely very pretty indeed.

Hey God,

you know what i just realized? Your from Detroit, eh? I'm from Windsor. Does that mean if i buy a part from you i could possibly go pay and pick it up? :)

Hey if you ever come across the river; i dunno... maybe to go to the casino, then give me a heads up. i'll keep my eyes open for one bad-ass wrx.

Dan,

It appears that these headers don't require an aftermarket uppipe to get rid of the first cat. What are the two bungs in the header/uppipe for?

Since I haven't bought my uppipe yet, maybe I'll bite the bullet and just get headers! :D :D

You know that things gonna fly. Have you ever looked at a stock WRX manifold? Choke city. That is one beautiful piece of art.

yep, the headers do include the uppipe portion. the top bung is for the stock egt sensor and the bottom one is for the o2 sensor.

the same headers shown above are now located under my hood :D

Don't tease, give us some feedback on how they feel!

well the headers have been on since early may. i dont remember that much about what difference the headers made because i've done other stuff to my car since then and its been a while. i do remember that the exhaust tone became more deeper, and it felt like torque increased across the entire rpm range. it made a bigger difference then my turbo back exhaust did (godspeed dp + kakimoto gt1.0oz ti). but these headers are really meant for bigger turbo's so you wont see its true potential unless you get rid of the stocker.

here's a pic of the headers a few weeks after i installed them

oh and the install is a pita. fit was great, but getting the sucker in there was a whole different story...

i'm thinking of actually selling my headers in the future. i'm still kind of iffy on what to do next to my car.

Since the uppipe is welded to the manifold, there shouldn't be any leaks either...right?
