So about 4 weeks ago I was driving normally and came to a red light. I go to put the car into 1st gear and proceed to push the clutch down. Car goes into first and I take my foot off the clutch but then the car jumps forward. Naturally I was like wtf was that so i go to push the clutch down in order to put the car into neutral only to realize the clutch pedal never came up off of the floor. The car was stuck in first AND MOVING and the clutch pedal was all the way down. i eventually slowed it down and pulled it into neutral without grinding gears. Long story short, Subaru said the master cylinder went bad and it was all replaced under warranty at no charge. oh and its a 2017 WRX with around 24,4xx miles at the time of the incident.
