MAP Stage 1 (93 Octane) - Stats

1530 Views 7 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  goodysgotacuda
I've just finished my first full week of running MAP Stage 1 (93 O), and I think everything looks and feels good. But there's one stat that I'm unsure about...AF learning 1.

This stat has been sporadic. Anywhere from -9.38 to 5.47.

Is this in the normal range to expect for AF Learning 1?

Cobb's website has an abundance of information on how to read the data coming through the AP. Normal ranges in A/F learning are +/- 8%. The numbers you are seeing are normal.

You need to log AF Learning (fuel trims) against load.

Alternatively, there should be a parameter for AF Learning in each of the load ranges.

don't stare at your AP forever. it will drive you crazy.
How do you like the tune as far as power and rev hang?

There's definite truth in this.

Unfortunately the reality of being unfamiliar with the parameters is that people tend to be alarmist to anything that says "knock" or "fuel"

I think people end up obsessing over this quite a bit.
