I have researched but cannot relate loss of low end power to an uppipe leak. My wrx ran fine for about a week after the install and recently when just gerring into boost there is a noticable whine. The car feels sluggish and sound of the turbo spooling up has quieted when in -vaccum. I would like to know if an uppipe leak will slow the spool time and lose low end power. The car seems to only have this problem at low boost or partial throttle. This is my first post so I already have my flamesuite on. Thanks Brandon

Simply answered in one word... YES If you have a leak on the upipe somewhere you will not be getting the turbo as much air as needed for it to spool. And since the factory turbo spools so quickly, you will notice the loss of power in the low end. At least that's what I experienced with my leak that I had on mine.
