I just herd that Lightweight flywheels were bad, is this true? This guy told me you actually loose high end hp, and it really doesn't help acceleration. A month ago everyone was saying that lighter flywheels were good. Whats the real deal?

lighter flywheel = less spool up time and quicker acceleration/deceleration (motor and car[when brake not applied]), also less stress on parts

Actually the install is super easy if you're changing your clutch. Just drop out trans and it's 8 bolts. It does many things for you. It makes it MUCH easier to match shifts and is easier on the drivetrain since there is less mass. It also aleviates a lot of jerkiness between shifts since it is so much lighter. Just make sure to use ONLY chrome-moly units. There are a few cheap alluminum units but there are many problems with it including different expansion rates of the alluminum and steel facing and loosening of the fasteners attaching them together.
