On the dyno
The Valet where i park my car damaged the front end. Insurance claim in the works.

DBtuned(now FW motorsports) installed them in Roseville, Ca. I love them. Much better suited for the 2.5 displacement and the power i have put in. Additionally I get better gas mileage with them when on the freeway. They are much thicker than the bugeye gears. Tougher overall. I would consider this the best option if you cant afford a 6sp swap. I still dont think the 5mt should be taken much past 300whp, but this setup should add longevity in that power range. The price i paid may not apply to your application. My recommendation is to put in a quick call to Paul and ask him how much based on your application. He did my transmission in 2 days. Very fast.

That's a nice overall build with good looking numbers/dyno graph. Welcome!

thanks very much. I'll be retuning in a couple of ways soon. A new 91 tune and a new E85 tune so I'll post those numbers. The car under the hood and inside is doing great. This next year i really need to do something about the external. Possibly looking to do a front lip, new front bumper.. not sure which style yet, a wheel swap and a different suspension approach(probably coilovers) suggestions?

04/05 tails. Do you race the car? If not just go with struts/springs instead of coils or plan on spending 2k on the coils. OEM bumper with oem front lip and molded & paint matched chargespeed brake ducts. Silver RPF-1's

o4/05 tails are definitely on the list... thanks for reminding me. Thanks for the other rec's thats a good look for sure. I do take the car to thunder hill and do circuit racing. I don't think im going to get the track ready setup with the ride quality i want unless i do something like the BC ER series coilovers.

Im also a fan of KYB GR-2s. RCE is a good spring choice though. That or swift springs

You don't need our help lol. You obviously know what your doing and are modding in an educated manner

Thanks very much! The powerband is all about the tune and that came from Ed at EQ tuning. I'll be retuning really soon with him and will post the newest dyno when i get it.

haha i appreciate that. But I'm always open to the perspective of others. I try to be tasteful but I knew nothing about subys when i started out. I don't need as much help as some other.. and i love to give help. I just want to elevate others as well as myself.
