Hi Everyone. It's been a loooong time since I've been here - my apologies.
Last week I blew the motor on my 2004 WRX messing around with an EVO on Long Island. I've been talking to Gruppe-S in Cali and they have been very helpful and knowlagable - comments welcome from those of you who have used them in the past. I can get a JDM EJ20 from them that will need a new ECU for the AVCS - Has anyone had experience putting the JDM EJ20 into a USDM WRX? They said if I didn't want to go for the new ECU that I could have the motor tuned to run without the AVCS hooked up. Does anyone know of a reputable tuner in the NY/NJ area?
I was going to replace my stock turbo with an IHI VF34.
