maybe it wasn't installed properly? id take it to the dealer. let us know what happens!
Interior Vibrations
Has anyone else noticed that with very midrange settings on the HK stereo, the interior panals vibrate like it was a 1990 civic?
Any suggestions on which panals they are and how to fix? I don't believe a new car should vibrate like that, but I know the WRX isn't designed to be a high end luxury vehicle.

Doors and rear deck are your main culprits most likely. I put sound deadening on my front doors and it made a difference in reducing vibrations. I'm going to do the rear doors and trunk area next.
My 2016 WRX has loosened up as much as a red light district hooker. At some point I will tell the dealer to fix it all because it's that bad. I'm also considering getting the whole interior stuffed with dynamatting. The dashboard is the worst area. Even my moonroof rattles. I have barely 17k miles on it. Get used to it or jam foam/matting in everything.
when you fold down the rear seats, the rear deck is terrible!
I've noticed it on my 2018 as well, it annoys the crap out of me.. Coming from a 2010 cummins where nothing rattled no matter how loud i plaid it..

welcome to owning a wrx. you could pull the panels open and dynamat them, or finding a lighter substitution. personally, i just use the drone of my noisy exhaust and the rest of the NVH to drown it out.

I live right. JK. But it is all true that I get great mpg and my car is still rattle free. I have a feeling that my driving it like a little old man is a big part of it. I’m on MI roads. They broke out the rattles before I hit 10k.
