I've really never wanted to do spacers before as of the horror stories I hear as well as many others against them and the science behind why they're bad.
With that how sketchy would spacers on an 04 STi with the stock BBS wheels be just to make the wheels flush with the body. And do I also get better wheel studs as well. I really don't want to but God I live these wheels

I never thought they were sketchy until I started seeing failures. Broken spacers, broken lugs, wheels on the side of the road, jeeps on their side.

But you do you. This topic is literally best to death. People who haven't had a failure yet praise them for how safe they are. The rest of us know better.

Agreed. My biggest worry besides snapping a stud is the additional stress it places on the wheel bearing. I also think if these things weren't a safety issue, the manufacturers would sell them as aftermarket (think NISMO, Ford Performance, etc.)
