Hi,

as the title says, just wondering in the grand scheme of things, how easy are the older wrx's to modify (2002-2007ish)?

how easy and cheap is it to get good power and handling etc.. in comparison to other cars in a similar price range such as an audi TT/TTS

There is no easy way to answer your question. If I were to try:
1. Maintenance first!
2. Research
3. Follow recommended modification paths
4. Build a relationship with a tuner
5. An intake isn't going to help you
6. Neither is a BOV
7. Research!
8. Don't listen to online dipshits
9. RESEARCH!
10. Set aside big $$ or be prepared to walk away for if/when bad stuff happens.

Hahaha yeah I agree with all that, I am currently going through some stuff with my 350z, and looking to swap into wrx as a complete change and have always wanted one.

I more meant are they awkward to mod, obviously money is a factor, and I will do research before any mods I ever did, and I know a BOV wont help me, except make a nice noise :ROFLMAO: just wonderedin terms of the availability and ease of install of mods, how they are, I have had a gt86 so am somewhat familiar with a boxer engine
