So I have owned my car for about 5 months now and I have posted a few times.

Anyway, I have a 2004 WRX and of the 5 months I have owned it 3 have been at Subaru...

Basically what happened was a spun rod bearing at 51,000 miles. The car is out of warranty and the turbo is not stock and mapped at 22 lbs of boost. in hind sight, that was a mistake but ya live and learn. The guy that owned it before me took very good care of it, except he may of been lying about keeping up with oil changes because I had to change it shortly after purchase.

Anyway, we know people at a Subaru dealer near by and they were able to help me out and get some money off the job but it took 3 months to deal with all the red tape and what not. It was the worst not being able to drive her for that long!

She is finally fixed and I am happy to be able to pick her up in the next day or two. I am super excited and it is same feeling I have from picking it up the first time.

Everyone seems really nice here and I look forward to being a part of the community.

question is did you replace the turbo or build the block to handle the 22 psi?

Yes that is plan. I knew I should have done it earlier but I never got to it and then it was too late.
