I have an 04' WRX turbo. I've changed the head gaskets, radiator, thermostat, and water pump. My car continues to over heat. When i drive it the turbo makes this squealing noise. I don't know whats going on. I'm thinking about taking it into the shop but I don't want to be charged a lot for something I can fix myself. Help.

can you still see coolant leaking somewhere? did you drive the car while the temp. gauge was in the red for an extended amount of time?

Have you burped the system? Sometimes it's something simple like that, but if you have a squealing from the turbo, it sounds like something is more seriously wrong. Have you checked the turbo for shaft play? Why did you replace all these components in the first place?

@scoobaru03 -- no leaking coolant. the car doesn't start overheating until 5 minutes before i get home and during that 5 mins it is in the red area...i've only done it twice and left the are parked in the garage.

@teflon_jones -- well my car started overheating a lot over a period of time. I've replaced the radiator 3 times, and then all the other parts to try in hopes that it will fix the "overheating problem". it was working perfectly until my brother decided to take to shaver lake in the mountains. As soon as he started escalating the turbo started making that squealing noise. Ever since it hasnt been the same. How would i burp the system or check the turbo for shaft play. Any tips?
