I let my brother drive my 2020 Subaru WRX one time and he goes and scratches one of my rims on the curb while he was backing up. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing the issue cheaply, but effectively?
I actually had the same thing happen to my rims in the same color. What i typically do is first get a small dremel and then sand down the parts of the lip with curb rash until its relatively smooth. Clean it with rubbing alcohol. Then i use the VHT satin black wheel paint. Spray some in a cup. let it thicken up slightly and apply on the rims with a small paint brush. Usually i have to do a few coats. SOmetimes it helps to smudge it slightly with your finger to blend.
The satin black matches quite well but you could also use the DGM Touch up paint as well. Surprisingly looks about 80% better and usually you can only tell if your face is in the rims.
