I recently installed a HKS BOV on my 2015 WRX and my car would make loud pops when I would up shift. After installed I notice it will not do that. Any way I can get the popping back?

No I was not aware I needed that, I watched a ton of videos and did some research and was unaware tuning was needed.

I am 100 percent catless and it has small pops and crackles when shifting which is absolutely normal. I was wondering about the blow off valve, I have a recirculating Hks which means the air is not leaving the system so I shouldn’t need a speed density kit right or am I still wrong?

Sorry for the confusion, I’m new to the community but I bought the Hks system and it gives you the choice. I could leave it as a BOV or recirculate it. So I shouldn’t be worried?

I installed a Cobb Intake and it has been tuned for it. That’s the only time I have touched the MAF
