Ordinarily I would say who gives a sh** about rusty bolts, but seeing as how you have your SVT from 2002, I can understand your concern.

Hello... Picked up a used 2017 WRX Limited :)

Hello all... new to Subaru but have wanted one for a long time.
Just picked up a used 19k mile 2017 WRX Limited. Seems to have everything but the package with the Navigation stuff which I didn't want.
I'm coming from a 2003 SVT Focus (ton of bolt-on's, suspension upgrades, etc) that I've had since I bought it new in 2002... Plan to sell it hopefully soon!
I also have a 2000 Ford Xploder 5.0 AWD that has been my on and off again project car for many years (torquemonster headers, custom dual 2.5" exhaust from the headers back into dual in/dual out full boar muffler, Meziere water pump, custom electric fan conversion, and a number of other goodies... use to run an STS remote mount turbo on it).
The 17 WRX is in great shape.. Just a few things I need to address like a tad bit of rust under the hood on a couple bolts...
I read that some IronX paste maybe can help with the rust and then a good cleaning (simple green for automotive) and a light coating of WD40 to help keep it from returning..

These are the bolts...
And then..
Hard to tell.. Assuming that is the turbo that looks all rusted as well? Seems bad for a 2017... Normal? Abnormal?
