Pulled the trigger and did some Black Friday shopping. Purchased a 2022 WRX. I’ve had a crush on the WEX for about 10 years now absolutely love it so far in the day or so I’ve had it. Looking forward to learning lots, modding it and meeting other WRX owners (especially ones in AZ)! 😏

it’s the base model (Crystal Black Silica) with dealer installed STI exhaust (which sounds incredible imo).

Oh, for sure! I had heard it in videos prior to my purchase but no comparison to hearing it in person.

Congrats on your purchase.

Cobb exhaust isn’t deafening but after I installed it I wasn’t that impressed. The 2006 Spec B we have is straight piped. Thankfully I don’t drive it everyday but there is something special about the sound of a EJ225 that makes you smile.

Here's a vid I found of the STI Exhaust. I think it sounds pretty nice. Mine's being installed tomorrow.
Definitely sounds better than stock.
