I’m pretty new to the WRX club I had my WRX for about 5 months now and I love it. I recently had it diagnosed because it kept dying randomly and I pretty much replace the Maf, spark plugs, battery, and terminals with no luck, finally too it to the shop and it turned out do be a faulty fuel pump controller. My question is, will a 04 fuel pump controller for my 02 WRX or should i suck it up and pay the full price for a new one. Also will the fact that my car is a regular WRX and the 04 is a Sti make a difference. If anyone can help I would appreciate it a lot.

It controls the fuel pump it’s located in the trunk on your passenger side it looks like a small gray block.
