It's either the turboxs, or a darn good copy of one. This is the turboxs:

Tough to tell after being used for a while, but that looks like a knockoff to me.
Ok thank you ej257, now from here do I spend the money and get the perrin or stick with this one?

amr t60, shooting for 500whp or more, getting it tuned and built by agile.

A better core would probably help, but isn't necessary depending on your budget.

Agile claims that in order to get 500whp they have to go rotated, amr got 400whp with a top mount and 500whp with a frount mount.

Different dynos. Different tuners.

When you get into turbos of that size, rotated is the way to go.
Yeah I now realized that, If I could return the turbo I would, cant unfortanately.
+1 to Matt...

Just use what you have and see how high you can go reliably...getting over 400whp, its gonna roast all 4 tires anyway, so just enjoy that for awhile :)
I belive it when people say you dont have to go rotated to get that much power.
No, you don't have to go rotated, that just makes it easier and better to drive. For a stock location setup you'll need a larger turbo to get the same numbers because of the flow restrictions, which means it will spool even later. Even if you were using the same size turbo the rotated setup would spool earlier and make more peak power.
I have the amr-t60 its fairly big and is rated for 450-500whp.
