Hey everyone! I'm a new WRX owner. Purchased mine in February and absolutely love it. Yesterday I finally mounted the front lip I bought from EBay. I had it painted to match the car and I think it looks great. But on both sides there is a gap. The shop that painted it for me thinks it's made to be that way because every part of it lines up perfectly with the underbody of the car. Has anybody else experienced this with the JDM Icon Motorsport front lip from EBay?

how big are your gaps? mine had 2 very small gaps when i first installed it. The lip eventually conformed to the front bumper with the heat from daily driving after a week or so.[/QUOT
I don't Think these gaps are going to close they're not huge but I think they're too big to close up on there own

what kind of mounting kit did they give you? some of the lips have bolts to put the lip on, others use bolts and selftappers, some ups bolt, self tappers and 3m tape. I used self tappers on mine and it sucked it right up tight.

i used the hardware that came with the lip. Stainless steel nuts bolts and washers
